THE ASTRONOMICAL SOCIETY OF THE REPUBLIC OF CHINA (ASROC) is the assembly of THE ASTRONOMICAL SOCIETY OF THE REPUBLIC OF CHINA (ASROC) is the assembly of astronomers in Taiwan. The mission of ASROC is to promote research, education, and outreach activities of astronomy in Taiwan. ASROC also aims to enhance international interactions and collaborations of astronomical activities. ASROC will host the 13th Asia-Pacific Regional IAU Meeting (APRIM) in Taipei in early July 2017. ASROC welcomes astronomers in Asia-Pacific region to visit Taipei and to share their researches with colleagues in the region.
In this exhibit, we will showcase astronomy in Taiwan, especially the facility projects and research results of Academia Sinica Institute of Astronomy and Astrophysics (ASIAA). We will also advertise the collaborative efforts of the East Asian Core Observatories Association (EACOA), in particular the EACOA Postdoctoral Fellowships.astronomers in Taiwan.
